Suspicious truck at Westgate identified

Warrant Officer Johan Loots confirmed that the truck is from the E-toll service.

Concerned citizens have been questioning the legitimacy of a truck parked at the Nedbank entrance at Westgate Shopping Centre.

According to community members, the truck has been standing at this entrance for quite a while and police have been notified.

“Everything is in order. Warrant Officer Johan Loots confirmed that the truck is from the E-toll service,” Captain Juanita Yorke, the Roodepoort Police spokesperson said.

She added that an E-toll truck has been assigned to Westgate Shopping Centre at Entrance 3 for the community’s convenience, as they can do an easy E-toll account payment as well as deposit money on their E-tag. Any queries with regard to E-toll can also be done at the truck.
