WATCH: Car on fire on Ontdekkers

The APCAN group has thanked various emergency responders who assisted with extinguishing the fire that engulfed a car.
Members of the Kruin Community Voluntary Association (KCVA), APCAN officers and Help24 responded to the incident on Ontdekkers Road at about 8pm on Thursday, 15 August.

According to a Facebook post by APCAN Security Group, they received a call for assistance from a KCVA patroller who had come across the burning vehicle.

“We cannot stress enough the importance of the eyes and ears of the community helping us in whatever way to fight any distress or obstacle. A huge thank you to everyone. With the assistance of Fire Emergency, KCVA and Help24, the road was closed immediately to prevent serious injury,” read the post.
