The Honour Wrestling Association recently entertained the crowd at the Germiston Afrikaans Hoërskool for the third year in a row.
All the wrestling fans made their way to the festival to support their favorite wrestlers in the ring.
The day kicked off with a match in which the South African Champion, Ultimate Nathan, defended his title against Jack Cannon. But, from high kicks to slam dunks, Ultimate Nathan always had the upper hand.
Hector Payne, the current World Champion, entered the ring and made an open challenge to any wrestler who was willing to go against him. To everyone’s surprise, Gene the Rejected Clown entered the ring and accepted the challenge. Full of confidence, Hector used all the tricks in the book and defeated the Rejected Clown.
In the main event, South Africa’s Springbok Wrestler, Steve Eden entered a number one contenders’ match against Mr Money. Eden used all of his famous wrestling experience, but as he climbed to the top rope to execute his ultimate flying elbow drop, Mr Money asked for some help from the outside to escape this match-winning move.
As Eden was about to elbow drop Mr Money, Mr Money’s back-up, Hector Payne, attacked Eden from behind. The fans were fuming about this partnership, which calls themselves the We Faction, and demanded a rematch.
Unfortunately, the suggestion of rematch was laughed off by the two as they walked away. Fans are hoping for a rematch in the future between Steve Eden and Mr Money.
