Great vibes at annual Xmas market

Everything Christmas plus a vibrant atmosphere emanating from the Rugby World Cup best describes a well-supported Christmas market hosted by Gateway Village on Saturday, 2 November.
From the entrance and down the driveway, the village was adorned with stalls which varied in offerings. As the start of much-anticipated Rugby World Cup final between England and South Africa drew closer, the market organisers made sure that nobody left the facility by putting the live screening of the game on in one of their halls.
The event was supported by the Police Mounted Unit, who created beautiful moments for some children who got the opportunity to take photos with the horses.
“We were so lucky to have the mounted police at our market as well as the community and the various vendors. There was so much going on and the atmosphere was amazing,” Lanie van Heerden reflected.
“Our thanks go to everyone who supported us in any way, you all made our day so successful and special,” she concluded.
