Some Christmas cheer for township children at the Lipizzaners!

It was a show they will never forget!

The SA Lipizzaners invited 31 children from the Mohau Nursery School in the Video informal settlement in Muldersdrift to their annual Christmas Charity Show in Kyalami, on Sunday 1 December.

Shenan Cochrane and Busi Pretty Vilikazi, the school’s head mistresses, together with the teachers, accompanied the children.

“The children were in awe of the beautiful horses and marvelled at the fantastic movements of the horses and their riders throughout the performance. With Christmas Carols playing, the children got to clap and sing along. “It was a wonderful experience full of Christmas Cheer,” Shenan said. She is also the chairperson of Gateway Land Owners Association.

After the performance the children went ‘backstage/ -stable’ and met the horses and riders. They enjoyed lovely snacks, compliments of SA Lipizzaners.

“Our thanks to Carol Pickering, Director of the SA Lipizzaners, and her team for a wonderful experience that everyone will cherish for years to come.”
