Karatekas to represent SA in the UK

Randburg Shotokan Karate Academy (RSKA) is proud of their students who have been selected to represent South Africa at the International Shotokan Karate Federation (ISKF) World Shoto Cup in the United Kingdom.
Jordan Samuels and Priyal Venkadu will be part of the team that will be going to the UK, and the two karatekas are hard at work to prepare for the World Shoto Cup.
The championship will be held at the University of East London, United Kingdom, from 21 to 23 August 2020.
This prestigious event takes place every four years where karatekas from more than 50 countries compete.
Sensei Prishen Pillay of RSKA has been nominated to be on the referee panel for the championship. He said, “It is an honour to be chosen to be on the panel for this prestigious, international event”.
Jordan and Priyal have been selected to compete in both individual Kata (Form) and Kumite (Free Sparring) categories where they will go up against some of the ISKF elite athletes.
The two boys will be competing in the U/16 category against the best in the world.
