Decorating for Christmas Day brings out the Christmas feeling where ever you go. Everywhere you go decoration light up the place, whether it is in the shopping malls, walking down the street, or driving on the high way, the Christmas spirit follows.
Two types of people have been spotted in the decorating department; one who has everything organised and has all the time to decorate in full, and those who will leave it until the very last minute.
If you relate to number two, here are some tips on how to easily decorate at the last minute:
• Forgot to buy your ornaments for your tree? No problem. Recycled ornaments will also do the trick. If you have any old sweaters that you don’t want anymore, cut them into whatever shapes you want and thread a piece of ribbon or wire through it to make a hook. Easiest ornaments ever.
• Lost that Christmas tree that has been tucked away for a year now? Use what you already have. If you have a ton of books in your house, stack the books in the form of a Christmas tree and just decorate with lights.
• Is your house missing that extra Christmas light effect? Candles are always a man’s best friend. Take empty jars or a glass bowl that you can fill up with water, then place the candles inside to float. You can also add flower petals to give it more colour, as well as some ribbons.
You can even just light it up with some Christmas lights and make your festive season worthwhile.
