Wow! The morality of our country has dropped. On the one hand you have this drive to stamp out violence towards women, children and men, and on the other hand you have the Minister of Basic Education, Angie Motshekga pushing for schools to implement a ‘sex education programme’ that exposes our children to soft porn and open copulation.
There are so many cases of rape and assault among our children in schools these days. So many offenders are caught, but do we want to expose our children to this in a “safe” environment?
When were the South African parents of the children who will be exposed consulted? Please don’t tell me we were asked to send our opinions about something that was not advertised? I read an article stating that if teachers object to teaching the Comprehensive Sex Education (CSE) curriculum based on morals and religion, they will be disciplined. How disgusting!
As a parent, if I object to my child attending these classes for reasons of religion and moral standing, will you subject me and my child to a disciplinary hearing or expel my child?
I OBJECT TO MY CHILD BEING EXPOSED TO THIS PROGRAMME!
I OBJECT TO MY CHILD’S RIGHT TO BE SAFE BEING RIPPED AWAY BY A CORRUPT AND IMMORAL GOVERNMENT!
I OBJECT TO A GOVERNMENT TAKING MY CHILD’S INNOCENCE AWAY BEFORE THEY ARE READY!
Do you realise that you are opening the door to every girl, boy and underage child being raped in bathrooms and being molested? Do you realise that you are taking away the opportunity of every child to be married righteously, the way they should? The CSE is immoral!
Do any other parents feel this way? How do I start a petition to end this?
