Truck accident on Albertina Sisulu Road claims four lives
One person survives with moderate injuries
Tragedy returned to Florida last night, 6 February, as four people were killed when the truck they were travelling in overturned on Albertina Sisulu Road, Florida.
Five people were travelling in the truck and when paramedics arrived on the scene just after 11pm, they discovered a man and a woman inside the truck’s cab. Sadly they had already succumbed to their injuries and were declared dead on scene. Two women and a man were found next to the truck after having been flung from the cab.

One woman sustained moderate injuries but sadly the other two were not so fortunate. Russell Meiring of ER24 confirmed, “Paramedics treated the patients and provided the two critically injured with advanced life support interventions. Unfortunately, after some time, the two critically injured succumbed to their injuries.”
The sole survivor of the accident was transported to hospital for further treatment while the true cause of the accident is still unknown. Authorities were on scene and the incident is under investigation.
