Parkrunners enjoy muddy trails
On 8 February, 66 committed parkrunners showed up at Len Rutter Park, ready for their weekly run.

You have not experienced proper commitment until you see soaking-wet runners taking on the 5km Saturday parkrun in the pouring rain.
On 8 February, 66 committed parkrunners showed up at Len Rutter Park, ready for their weekly run, not minding the heavy downpour and muddy trails.

Thami Nyembe celebrated the joyful run by crossing the finish line first in a time of 19 minutes and 12 seconds. Caroline Tom was the first female runner to cross the muddy finish in a time of 31 minutes and 20 seconds, in an overall 18th place.

Two runners did not let the rain stop them from reaching new personal best times. Xander Fernandez clocked in at 30 minutes and 15 seconds, and Kobus Visser finished the race with his new personal best time of 37 minutes and 14 seconds.
