The King’s School West Rand came alive on Saturday, 7 March when they held their annual Open Day and Market at the school in Poortview.
Helicopter flips, go-karts, food stalls and games had the whole family turn up in numbers to enjoy the market.
“The helicopter flip was a wonderful way to see our beautiful valley and realise that God has blessed us with such gorgeous surroundings,” said the school’s marketing manager, Michele Dos Ramos.

The South African National Blood Service conducted a blood drive at the event and an impressive number of bleeds was recorded.
The King’s School marimba players captured the crowd with their beautiful music, and singer Gideon Hunter’s performance filled the air with pleasant country vibes.

“Some of the teachers and learners also donated blood at our successful open day market, and I must say it was a wonderful morning of community and growth. See you next time,” said Michele.
