Trinityhouse Little Falls Pre-school was buzzing with colour and excitement on Thursday, 12 March, when it decided to host a Shavathon in support of CANSA.
From the teaching staff to the vibrant little ones, all heads were looking different after being shaved or sprayed during the exciting morning.

Learners, adorned in over-sized hairdresser capes, queued to be hair-sprayed by their teachers and enjoyed the different look for the day.
The school’s charity coordinator, Genevieve Bezuidenhout, said the school hosts charity events every month, which they call Other People’s Day, and while this month coincides with Cancer Month, “We decided to support the CANSA Shavathon because most have families that have been affected by the disease,” she said.

Genevieve encouraged the whole community to support the campaign.
The CANSA Shavathon is being held in various shopping centres and malls for the duration of this month.
