At 4.36pm on Saturday 4 April, Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on Albertina Sisulu Road.
According to reports from the scene, two light motor vehicles were involved in a head on collision, leaving two dead and two critically injured.
Paramedics assessed the scene and found that two males had sustained fatal injuries and another two male patients had sustained serious injuries.
The injured patients were treated on scene while the City of Johannesburg Fire and Rescue Services used hydraulic tools to free the occupants from the vehicle.
Once treated, one of the men was transported by ER24 and the other one by Emer-G-Med ambulance to hospital for further treatment.
