WATCH: Suzelle shows you how to make your own face mask

As the nationwide lockdown during the Covid-19 pandemic was moved to Level 4, it became compulsory to wear a face mask when going out in public.

But, not everyone is in a position to get hold of these masks, as some of them are very expensive.

The three different face masks Suzelle made.

Suzelle, (artist and actress Julia Anastasopoulos) who is the host of Suzelle DIY, made a video to help you by showcasing three creative, safe and approved ways to make easy and stunning DIY face masks.

Suzelle said, “In this video, brought to you by the Western Cape Government and the Premier, Alan Winde, I show you how to make a no-sew printed bandana face mask, an upcycled denim face mask (snazzy, vintage), and a colourful material face mask. I also highlight the important rules of wearing a mask.

She also highlighted the rules to follow when wearing a mask:

  • Do not touch your face Don’t fiddle with your mask
  • Wash your hands before and after removing your mask
  • Remove your mask by the straps
  • Do not share your mask
  • Wash your mask with soap and water, and let it dry in the sun.
