Baby Sanctuary in 7th heaven thanks to donors

Baby Sanctuary CEO and founder lauds donors who have stuck with them even in difficult times, and during the lockdown period in particular.

Just In Time Baby Sanctuary is grateful to all donors who have stuck with them even in difficult times, and during the lockdown period in particular.

According to Georgina Caetano, CEO and founder of the Sanctuary, grocery donations, for example, have tripled, and they can pay their water and electricity bills, for now.

She also praised her hard-working employees and carers who have been on duty since the beginning of lockdown Level 5.

“They have sacrificed their time with their families for the Just In Time Baby Sanctuary. They earn minimum wages because it is what we can afford; however, I have doubled their salary for May and will continue doing so until lockdown is over,” she said.

“We are very grateful to our donors – they have been awesome. Our carers have been my rock.

Thanks to everyone, known and unknown, for your support from the beginning of lockdown until now. We would not have gone this far without you,” she said.

Georginia, however, appeals to the community to continue to assist the Sanctuary (see their list of needs below the story).

“I know everyone is battling but please, do not forget about us. Every bit helps, no matter how big or small. Financial contributions may be made to: Just In Time Baby Sanctuary, FNB cheque account number 62687882649. Donations may be delivered to Just In Time Baby Sanctuary, 7 Finch Street, Greenhills, Randfontein,” she concluded.
