To answer the hot question on Joburg’s lips, no, Midrand was not invaded by extra-terrestrials.
South Africans have become particularly alert to invasions, strikes, protests and marches. It was then no surprise when a picture of a looming, massive, spaceship appeared on Facebook and went completely viral.
It has now surfaced that Motake used a ,‘camera 360’ app from Play Store. Apparently she had taken the picture on the N1 South before 14th Avenue near the MTN Headoffices.
The caption on Facebook by the poster, Dineo Motake, read, “N1 from Midrand today. Do u see what I see?”
The picture was supposedly taken in Midrand while she was driving on the highway.
UFO fundies crawled out of the spaceship to offer their explanation of the event. Explanations ranged from,
Let's just if there was a UFO over Midrand, there would be more than ONE pic. We live in an age where everyone has a smartphone. Come on!!
