Nirvana Rogers, marketing officer of the school, said staff and pupils were honoured to host Chris Riddell, a renowned British author, illustrator and political cartoonist.
“He intrigued pupils from Redhill, Beaulieu and Lulama primary schools with a presentation on the much-loved characters from his various books,” added Rogers.
She said during the presentation, Riddell illustrated his favourite characters, showing slides from his sketchbook and reading from his book, Goth Girl.
“As the new Children’s Laureate, he also addressed the importance of reading and discussed creativity and the ability that everyone has to create stories through drawing,” explained Rogers.
