Various guests and celebrities were invited to bring their children to the launch of the extravaganza and have fun.
The spectacular is based around the action-packed pre-school adventure series Paw Patrol, an animated programme about the exciting lives of a pack of heroic puppies led by a tech-savvy 10-year old boy named Ryder.
“We are very excited to bring Marshall and Chase from Nick Jr.’s Paw Patrol to Sandton City for the first time; these lovable pups will make kids laugh out loud and also teach kids and their parents about the importance of safety,” said head of Nickelodeon, Tasania Parsadh.
Community members can take their children to the Fountain Court at Sandton City where youngsters will learn about staying safe with the Paw Patrol team, and join in some fun sing-a-longs with Marshall (an excitable six-year-old dalmatian pup who’s the team’s fire dog) and Chase (an athletic seven-year-old German shepherd police dog who’s definitely leader of the pack).
Plus there will be meet and greets with the characters and other fun activities such as building block pits and craft stations.
A unique blend of problem-solving skills, cool vehicles and physical humour, the Paw Patrol pups work together on rescue missions to protect the Adventure Bay community where they live.
From Marshall the fire dog to Chase the police pup and Skye who flies high in her copter, each pup brings a unique personality and skills to the team, demonstrating the importance of teamwork and good citizenship.
Paw Patrol’s interactive singalong shows are at 10am, 1pm, 4pm and 6pm daily, with meet and greets at 11am, 2pm and 5pm.
