Joburgers wish Tovey speedy recovery

JOBURG - Soccer legend Neil Tovey, is said to be critical but recovering in hospital. Tovey suffered a heart attack a couple of years ago. He is the current technical director of the national soccer team, Bafana Bafana.

Sinah Mogashoa: Mokoko, Tovey’s nickname, is an important national figure. I sympathise with his family and encourage the nation and all soccer lovers to join the family in prayers for his recovery.

Duane Wilters: Often sports persons are not thought of as vulnerable to heart attacks and many other illnesses as they are regarded as physically and mentally well. We wish him to recover and will think of him and his family in our prayers.

Fontini Walters: Like other ailments, heart attacks are beyond our control and surviving them, especially twice, is a blessing to Neil Tovey. I urge citizens to watch their diets and to lead clean lives to minimise chances of contracting ailments.
