Hyde Park High School first aid super stars

HYDE PARK – Six children from Hyde Park High School were recently awarded full colours for first aid.

Hyde Park High School has a very strong and active first aid team and recently awarded six team members their first aid full colours.

The recipients are already on Level 3 which qualifies them to perform CPR from infant to adult and advanced C-Spine control.

This enables the team to provide the best first aid support at all sporting events taking place at the school.

Hyde Park High School is one of the few schools that have an automated external defibrillator.

Amelia Lyall, a teacher in charge of the team said, “I am proud of their contribution to the school and their continued enthusiasm to upgrade their skills in this very valuable extracurricular activity.”
