Suspect allegedly caught red-handed breaking into a business in Parkmore
PARKMORE – The suspect set off an alarm on the business premises.
One suspect has been arrested for business break-in in Sandton.
Efforts to address trio crimes (carjackings, house robberies and business robberies) in the Sandton policing precinct, ended in a positive result as one suspect was arrested in Parkmore on 20 April.
According to Sandton police’s spokesperson Captain Granville Meyer, “The 38-year-old suspect was arrested at a business premises in Parkmore after security officials responded swiftly to an alarm. On arrival, the suspect was found inside the premises.”
After investigation, it was found that the suspect broke one of the doors to gain entry.
The suspect is currently in detention and will appear in court once charged.
