On Mandela Day, today, as thousands of South Africans are donating 67 minutes of their time, Caxton Joburg North chose Sunshine Centre Craighall to echo Tata’s memory with #CaxtonPaints4Tata.
The Rosebank Killarney Gazette saw the need to help the children at the centre who have various disabilities.

Repainting of classrooms and carpet cleaning was top of their list.
The Gazette team approached local businesses and community members to partner under the Caxton Cares banner. Houghton-based investment company Safika Holdings donated 30 litres of paint as well as 15 paint trays and loads of brushes.
Michael Evlamblou, the co-owner of local Parkhurst pub and restaurant Founders at Giles, was delighted to get on board to help keep the hard-working Caxton staff members well-nourished with delicious food.
West Pack Blairgowrie also took up the challenge and donated cleaning products, toilet paper and much-needed items to help the team.
