Classy lunch with classical music
SANDTON - In celebration of good music, the Auto and General Theatre on the Square will host its weekly lunchtime classical music concert on 13 November.
Theatre owner Daphne Kuhn said, “The theatre is delighted to continue to present and produce lunch hour concerts on Fridays for the eighth year. This uplifting classical music programme is for all to enjoy.”
The theatre will see soloists from Gauteng opera, Dorah Kganakga, Phenye Modiane and Kagiso Boroko perform a plethora of opera classics with piano accompaniment by Paul Ferreira.
Tickets for the concert will be available at the theatre on the day of the performance from 12.30am and will cost R40.
The performance will commence at 1pm with tea and biscuits being served.
