Calling all foodies

BRAAMFONTEIN – 73 Juta Street in Braamfontein will host the new reimagined Neighbourgoods Night Market with all-new entertainment to celebrate its fifth birthday.

After a winter hiatus, the Neighbourgoods Night Market will reopen on 1 September.

Not only is there a revamped market space to bring you a brand-new experience, but it is also the market’s fifth birthday. Experience the cultural and artistic roots of Johannesburg’s beautiful Braamfontein as Neighbourgoods Market brings you a night market with reinvented entertainment to reimagine your first Thursday of every month.

The event is a collaboration between Red Bull Music Academy Weekender, A-MAZE Festival, Kalashnikovv Gallery and Neighbourgoods Market.

This special edition will feature a one-night only audio-visual installation powered by the Red Bull Music Academy Weekender and a pop-up gaming arcade from Berlin’s A-MAZE Festival. The installation combines visuals from well-known video and photographic artists with South Africa’s top electronic music producers, while the interactive arcade will showcase cutting-edge games from the world’s leading independent game designers.
