This according to Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela, spokesperson for the Bramley police. A man and woman opened a case of vehicle theft at the Bramley Police Station.
“Both complainants claim that their vehicles were locked and secured when they left them,” said Maphakela. He said a Fiat Uno was parked at Innesfree Park during a music festival when it was stolen.
He said a silver VW Polo was stolen outside Stephen Hills flats in Illovo. Maphakela added that the complainant’s silver VW Polo was insured and that she had a tracking device installed in the car.
Both vehicles have not been recovered. The police are still investigating.
