Entertained and informed pupils
MORNINGSIDE - ADT Security held a safety skills interactive show for the pupils of Discovery Fun Factory in Morningside.
Entertainer Darrin McDowall had the youngsters enthralled. He combined entertainment and education to get the children’s concentration. He spoke about personal safety, dangers in the kitchen, electricity safety, and the dangers of playing with fire, guns and what to do if a stranger enters into your house.
The fun-filled show had the pre-primary and primary school children amused.
The school’s media manager, Nicolle Kairuz said, “Children are never too young to be educated and made aware of the dangers that exist in our society. Darrin has a fun, friendly way of addressing these pertinent issues. He has found the happy medium as this show keeps the children both informed and entertained.”
