Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela, spokesperson for Bramley police said the woman was at her boyfriend’s home but he was not there. Maphakela said when the man returned home he assaulted her.
“He got inside the room and started beating her with his fists all over her body,” he explained.
Maphakela said the man followed the woman to her home and beat her some more. “He bit her on her left shoulder,” added Maphakela. “The victim’s sister witnessed the whole incident and the woman has filed a protection order against her boyfriend.”
The man was arrested and detained at the Bramley Police Station.
