Facebook users complaint get William Nicol cleaned
SANDTON - Sandton Chronicle Facebook user has held a know brand accountable and as a result, has managed to get a piece of William Nicol cleaned up.
Elna McIntosh commented on Facebook: “This mess was left on the corner of William Nicol Drive and Republic Road – Two days in a row of Bavaria marketing. Not only did it cause chaos in the peak hour traffic, but littering and leaving this mess behind. Very poor marketing strategy Bavaria. Come back and clean up your mess.
The Sandton Chronicle passed the message on the Bavaria after the photo was shared 14 times on the social network.
Bavaria responded quickly saying, “We have been made aware of this very unfortunate incident via our social media agency. Upon receipt of the message we immediately engaged our marketing agency to visit the site and provide us with a report on the matter. I can confirm that our agency has cleaned up the mess at the site. We would like to sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused and assure you that measures will be taken to avoid this from re-occurring in the future.”
