UPDATE: Zuma’s son shows up in court

SANDTON - President Jacob Zuma’s son, Duduzane appeared at the Randburg Magistrates' Court on 22 August.

This after Duduzane was involved in an accident with a minibus taxi where one person was killed on Grayston Drive, Sandton, in February this year.

On 12 August Duduzane failed to show up at an inquest into the accident, where he is considered a suspect.

His legal advisor, Gary Mazaham apologised for Duduzane’s absence at the last inquest.

Mazaham told Sandton Chronicle that Duduzane was out of the country when a subpoena was issued to him.

He said Duduzane did not know about the court date on 12 August.

He is expected to appear in court again in November.
