The festival will feature entertainment and an exciting array of activities for attendees.
The event, organised by Stormfest South Africa, is an effort by the company to assist the school in raising funds. The company is an events planning company founded by Robby Harrison, his son Storm and Eugene Dippenaar. The company is focused on assisting schools to raise funds and to promote up-and-coming young artists.
According to Harrison, the event will take place on 27 September and will feature some of the country’s most well-known artists.
“The Stormfest festival will see the likes of LCNVL and DJ Euphonik perform, all for the purpose of raising funds for the school,” he said.
Harrison also explained that the festival was a way to raise awareness on serious issues such as crime.
Other artists billed to perform include, Storm In Africa, Vin Deysel and Mean Mr Mustard.
Harrison explained that selecting Bryanston came as a result of a suggestion by one of the initiative’s partners, who worked at the school and highlighted the need to raise funds.
“Stormfest SA is an initiative based on assisting schools to raise funds and is a way to give back to schools within the community,” he explained.
Harrison encouraged residents from all over the city to come and support the initiative’s cause in assisting schools. The festival will begin at 12pm at the school and will run until 11pm.
