Make a plan, no water in Riverclub

RIVERCLUB - There will be a water shut down in Riverside on 29 October to facilitate construction on the Coleraine Drive bridge.

This, according to the site project manager, Themba Mavimbela who also said Joburg Water will be in charge of the entire process. A pipe replacement will be taking place which will result in no water from 8.30am to 5pm on 29 October.

“Further note that on Thursday, 30 October we will be installing the beams and it is vital that Joburg Water completes their process as they will not have access thereafter,” added Mavimbela.

Bertha Peter-Scheepers, spokesperson for the Johannesburg Roads Agency said a total of 200 homes in the area will be affected by the water cuts. There will also be water tankers accessible to the residents affected by the water cuts.
