Judge rules against Cell C
SANDTON - The controversial Cell C banner put up at WorldWear will remain where it is. This follows the dismissal of Cell C's application to have it removed by the South Gauteng High Court.
According to reports Judge Sharise Weiner ruled that Cell C should have brought the application earlier, when the customer threatened to put it up, and dismissed the urgency of the interdict.
Furthermore, the judge dealt with the fairness of the comments, saying that the customer held the view that the service that he received was paltry.
“He(defendant) believed that it was true that this is what he described as a ‘useless’ service provider,” the judge ruled.
The case was dismissed with costs.
