Matric pupils make Redhill High School proud

SANDTON - Redhill High School is excited by the exceptional results of its 2014 matriculants.

Redhill High School has extended its warmest congratulations to their pupils and their teachers after receiving news of its 100 percent pass rate in the 2014 examination results. Redhill obtained its 40th consecutive 100 percent pass rate when 86 pupils sat for the examination this year.

The school’s pupils achieved a 100 percent Bachelor’s degree pass which means the pupils are eligible for university entrance.

Redhill has also achieved a ranking within the top five percent of all Independent Examinations Board pupils in six or more National Senior Certificate subjects.

Nine pupils were placed in the top one percent of all Independent Examinations Board pupils for their respective subjects. An average of 2.40 distinctions was achieved per pupil and they produced results of more than 60 percent in 85 percent of all subjects written.

Stephanie Barker, Samuel Musker and Lekha Tlhotlhalemaje were the top achievers with their total of nine distinctions. Kirsten Harding and Tao Platt obtained eight distinctions; Nicholas Downey, Zaakirah Mitha, Chelsea Stroobach and Ashok Willis all obtained seven distinctions; Emma Clark, Oliver Makins, Aurobind Padayatchi, Jessica Tyrrell, Joshua van Zyl and Graeme Young achieved six distinctions; and Savannah Antunes and Keanu Batista obtained five distinctions.
