Julie Bourdin, a pupil at the French School in Sandton, has achieved exceptional matric results. and has graduated with 100 percent for her baccalaureate. “People used to say the baccalaureate exam is more difficult than matric because the pupils have to get 78 percent to graduate,” explained Florent Moignard on behalf of the school.
“Julie is mature for her age. She is very curious and aware of the economic, social and political issues of our world,” explained Moignard.
Bourdin likes debating and is skilled at analysis and synthesis. “She is also very altruist.”
Moignard added that the general results for the French School were excellent. The school’s pass rate was 100 percent, with 58 percent comprised of distinctions with honours.
Bourdin will study further at SciencePo Paris, a university in France. Moignard said the institution is a high level university for political sciences and journalism. “A lot of politicians, high level civil servants and journalists studied in this famous campus.”
