Sandown pupils impress with matric results
SANDTON - Sandown High School had reason to celebrate as the school received outstanding matric results.

The school impressed with an 87.2 percent pass rate which included 23 distinctions.
The school’s top achiever was Gracious Nyoni, who impressed with five distinctions in English, mathematics, life orientation, life sciences and physical science.
Nyoni was also the school’s head girl and the representative council of learners’ president for 2014.
The school’s Adele Nell expressed pride and joy at the outstanding results produced by the pupils.
“I am extremely proud of the pupils because they worked really hard to get these results,” she said.
The school saw 94 pupils sit for the 2014 final exams, with 24 pupils qualifying for a bachelors degree, 41 qualifying for a diploma and 17 for a higher certificate.
