Sandton police youth desk needs volunteers
SANDTON - The Sandton police are appealing to young residents in the Sandton area to join the station's youth desk.
The station is currently struggling to get more young residents involved in the progamme.
Sergeant Cynthia Segoa said the station needs ideas and suggestions from young residents for awareness campaigns aimed at keeping the youth from committing crimes.
She asked interested residents to get in touch with the station and drop off their CV’s, directed to Segoa, at Room 229.
Segoa also stressed that it is a voluntary programme and is only open to residents, aged between 18 to 35 years, living in the Sandton police precinct.
