Daniel Baron charms and inspires Crawford pupils

SANDTON - Crawford College Sandton pupils went wild when well-known pop artist Daniel Baron visited the school for a motivational talk and performance.

The chart-topping artist, known for hits such as Not Here, gave an electrifying performance at the school and also encouraged pupils to always pursue their dreams.

Melissa Lai, marketing brand manager for Crawford schools, explained that inviting Baron was a way to inspire their pupils to not be afraid to achieve their dreams.

“We like to inspire our pupils by exposing them to different talent because we believe that if you can dream it, you can [definitely] achieve it,” she said.

Lai added that having Baron speak to the pupils was a great initiative because he is a good role model who could provide positive motivation.

Indeed, Baron did not disappoint, belting out fan favourites much to the pupils’ and teachers’ enjoyment.

He explained that he had always dreamt of becoming a singer despite it being a challenging path to follow.

“It was a tough journey to fulfil that dream but my faith always kept me going,” he said.

Baron added that it was an amazing thing to be able to inspire young people, and added that if someone has a dream, they must follow it.

The motivational talk took place on 14 April at the school and included an autograph session for fans.
