Hilton Sandton to host Youth in Hospitality event
SANDTON - THE HILTON Worldwide hotel group is set to host its annual Youth in Hospitality signature event as part of an attempt to tackle youth unemployment.
The event will take place at the group’s Sandton hotel, and will include an address from the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Tokozile Xasa and Hilton Worldwide’s vice-president of operations: Africa and Indian Ocean, Jan van der Putten.
The Youth in Hospitality is a careers showcase aimed at tackling the issue of youth unemployment on a global scale, and will see young people exposed to career opportunities in the hospitality industry.
The event will take place on 25 May in Rivonia and will run from 9.30am to 12pm.
