UPDATE: Suspended Bryanston High School pupil to fight school’s hair policy

BRYANSTON – A Bryanston High School pupil who was suspended for non-compliance with the school’s hair policy is seeking the creation of a new policy, and the rules applied within, for pupils' hair.

This according to reports that state that the suspended Grade 11 pupil, Dylan Reynders (17), returned to school on 14 September after he was suspended for three weeks.

Reynders has apparently said that with his return to school, he plans to contribute to the new policy on pupils’ hair through the Representative Council of Learners body at the school.
The reports state that Reynders was accepted back to the school on condition that he adheres to the current hair policy at the school.
