Spokesperson for the school, Avril Wright said, “Daniel Yazbek and Rearabiloe Pitsoe were unanimously elected by their peers and teachers as the Head Councillors for 2016, together with Cameron Meek and Samantha Foster as the Deputy Head Councillors.”
Along with receiving the title of deputy head boy, Cameron Meek had an exciting day where he was awarded his white honours blazer alongside fellow student, Romeo Phakathi.
Principal of Hyde Park High School, Manolis Vogiatzis, commended the new head councillors and said how proud he was of their personal growth from when they first joined the school in Grade 8.
