The day was created by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation as a worldwide celebration of books and reading, and is marked in more than 100 countries all over the world.
The school believes reading is a vitally important part of education and they encourage a culture of reading in each and every class.
They plan to celebrate this year’s World Book Day by reading their favourite childhood book and they encourage everyone to do the same and share the book with their families.
