Don’t shop, rather adopt

SANDTON - The Sandton SPCA is appealing to community members to adopt some of their pets who anxiously wait for a loving home and a warm heart, but advises that adoptions involve a home inspection by the organisation.

The adoptive family will have to pay for vaccination, de-worming and sterilisation of the animal, which are all compulsory.

The SPCA is looking for homes for the following adorable pets:

  •  Fiebie is a nine-month-old cross breed who was found unwanted and is described as very friendly.
  •  Heaven is a 14-month-old cross breed. She was also found unwanted and has a calm personality.
  •  Tag is a cute cross-terrier who is two years old who was found as a stray by the SPCA.
  •  Tikky is a seven-month-old cross-dachshund who was abandoned. He has lots of character.
  •  Speckle is a black and white domestic short-hair who is six months old and was found unwanted.
  •  Noodle is a cross tabby and white domestic short-hair. He is five months old and was found unwanted by the organisation and is looking for a loving family to suit his affectionate nature.
