Attend Matisse Cut-out Craft Workshop to raise funds

HYDE PARK – Matisse Cut-out Craft Workshop held for charity.

Headway Gauteng will present a Matisse Cut-out Craft Workshop on 23 July.

This is a fundraising event that teaches attendees craft making and requires no art experience from participants. All art materials, lunch and tea and coffee are included in the R450 contribution fee.

Headway Gauteng is a registered non-governmental organisation which offers a rehabilitation and support programme to adults who have suffered from brain injuries as a result of an accident, stroke or brain disease.

The organisation has three branches in Johannesburg. Their head office is in Hyde Park and the other two branches are in Alexandra and Soweto.

Free therapy is offered to their attendees in Alexandra and Soweto and the money that will be raised from the workshop will go towards the organisation’s patients.

Headway Gauteng also relies on corporate donations as well as their own fundraising endeavours such as this workshop.

The workshop will take place from 10am to 3pm at 85 First Road in Hyde Park.
