Tech teacher of the year announced

SANDTON – Marina Myburgh was recognised as the ISPA Tech Teacher of the Year.

 

The Internet Service Providers Association’s (ISPA) Super Teacher of the Year Awards saw Marina Myburgh, CAT and information technology teacher from Crawford College Sandton, crowned as the ISPA Tech Teacher of the Year.

The country’s premier award ceremony formed part of the annual iWeek Conference and Exhibition, which is also hosted by the association.

Myburgh expressed her gratitude to the association, the Digital Education Institute and the sponsors.

She was recognised for developing the Steam (Science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) programme at Crawford College Sandton which allowed the students to extend, apply and integrate what they learnt in life sciences, physical sciences, technology, engineering, art and mathematics.
