Mugabe expected to make public announcement
ZIMBABWE – This comes after reports surfaced on Sunday afternoon that Zanu-PF had fired Robert Mugabe.

According to reports this evening, Robert Mugabe, who was fired by Zanu-PF earlier on Sunday, was expected to make an announcement on Sunday evening.

However, it appears there may be a delay.
The delay to Robert Mugabe’s address to the nation is because he has a prepared speech. Military want to have a look at the speech before he addresses nation. Tricky #Zimbabwe

Earlier on Sunday, Reuters was the first to report that Mugabe had been fired.
