SANDTON – Sandton Chronicle visited Brescia House School and Crawford College to hear their thoughts on the results.

Following the release of the IEB matric results last night, Sandton Chronicle visited Crawford College Sandton and Brescia House School to hear their thoughts on the much-anticipated results.
Principal Benedikte Nott said she was incredibly proud of the 2017 matric class who achieved a 100 per cent university entrance for the third year running.

“The girls have worked so hard and I am thrilled that they all received a university pass. I am really proud of the fact that for three years running, we have had a full batch of university entrants. The teachers and students work really hard to make this a reality,” said Nott.

Some of the top achievers at the school, twin sisters Beth and Kate Watson, who both received seven distinctions, spoke the Sandton Chronicle about their achievements.
Beth said, “I was relieved when I received the message last night with my results. I had been anxious for some time and it is great to be officially done with high school.”
Kate added, “I was not sure what to expect after completing the exams. There were some really challenging subjects. We worked hard in advance and made sure that we were well-prepared ahead of the exams.”
Principal at Crawford College Sandton Morag Rees said she was ecstatic with the results her students achieved. “They did way better than we had ever hoped.
