Africa Energy Indaba announces partnership with Electrotechnical Export Council
SANDTON – The Africa Energy Indaba announces their partnership with the South African Electrotechnical Export Council (SAEEC) to grow and develop the African energy sector with the SAEEC member companies.

The African Energy Indaba, which is hosting their 10th edition at the Sandton Convention Centre in February, announced their partnership with the South African Electrotechnical Export Council (SAEEC) this week.
The purpose of the partnership is to grow and develop the African energy sector with council member companies. SAEEC is a public-private partnership between South African business and the Department of Trade and Industry to facilitate export growth and internationalisation of its members.
The Africa Energy Indaba is the continent’s premier energy conference and exhibition, bringing together leading African and global energy players to unlock energy and business opportunities across the continent.
The indaba is supported at a strategic level by the World Energy Council (WEC) and the event constitutes the annual WEC African Forum.
At the indaba, the council will profile companies drawn from its membership base that represent South African companies that are highly regarded as solution providers for power and telecommunications infrastructure projects in Africa.
As part of the trade association partnership, the council is proud to announce that, with the support of the Department of Trade and Industry, they will also be hosting high-level delegates from African countries including Zambia, Kenya, Sudan, Mozambique and Tanzania at the Indaba next month.
CEO of the council, Chiboni Evans said, “We are delighted to partner with the Africa Energy Indaba, an event that is produced by Africans for the benefit of the African energy sector. The value for our member companies participating at this 10th edition of the African Energy Indaba is measurable and the aim is to link SAEEC member companies such as ABB, Powertech and Atcom to other African businesses, projects or utilities attending the event to conduct business in the energy sector.
“We believe the African Energy Indaba 2018 will be a conduit for the dti-mandated investment-led export drive into the African continent,” she added.
