A video was posted to the Eblockwatch group that shows a man who was shot, allegedly by a foreign diplomat’s security detail in Pretoria.
The video shows the man lying on the ground after he had been shot. Another man can be seen climbing into a Land Rover Discovery. The vehicle in question is seen to have diplomatic number plates.
The man claims in the video that the victim had attacked him with a knife before he gets back into the car and starts to drive away.

People in the background can be heard screaming to call the police. They also shouted at the man that he can’t leave.
It is unclear if the victim survived the shooting or if the vehicle fled the scene as the video ends shortly afterwards.
No more details on the exact location or date of the video could be verified.
Colonel Lungelo Dlamini, spokesperson for the police confirmed that the incident happened on 25 May in Pretoria.
“The security was approached by a knife-wielding man and was shot in the upper body.”
He said the victim was taken to a hospital.
Dlamini said police are busy investigating the incident.
