Sandton CPF and community give back to the police
SANDTON – The Sandton CPF recently organised a clean-up of the Sandton Police Station.
The Sandton CPF organised a community clean-up at the Sandton Police Station for Mandela Day.
Community members paid a visit to the station and spent 67 minutes of their time to assist in cleaning and scrubbing parts of the station.
Various companies got involved and brought their own cleaning materials and got down on their knees to clean. They cleaned floors, windows, tables and bathrooms throughout the day in a show of appreciation to the men and woman in blue who protect the community.
In addition, a group of volunteers made food to feed the police officers.
The station commander, Brigadier Egen Moodley thanked the community for giving up their time and said the work is appreciated.
