Afternoon thunderstorms expected

The SA Weather Service has taken to Twitter to advise community members to stay safe as thunderstorms are predicted in Gauteng this afternoon, 13 October.
The service also offered the following bit of advice:

This warning comes after the weather service had advised that stormy weather was expected for various parts of the country, including Gauteng, on Friday and Saturday.
